ANIMAL CARE ATTENDANT – LIVE OUT
40 HOURS PER WEEK 5 OUT OF 7 DAY ROTA
£14,256.00 PER ANNUM
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time permanent Animal Care Attendant at the Sanctuary.
Reporting to the Animal Care Manager you will be responsible for the care, welfare and enrichment of Sanctuary animals. Duties will include for example feeding, grooming, administering treatments and maintaining a high standard of hygiene.
It is essential you hold a Qualification in Animal Care or have recent equivalent experience working in an Animal Care environment.
Bank Holiday and Weekend working will be part of the rota and occasional lock up duties. Due to the location and role it is essential you have a full driving licence and access to transport. A job descriptoin can be downloaded by clicking here.

ASSISTANT CHARITY SHOP MANAGER
14 HOURS PER WEEK / 2 DAY ROTA
£7.27 PER HOUR
The Sanctuary is seeking to recruit a highly talented Assistant Charity Shop Manager with business acumen and a real passion for the retail environment.
As the Assistant Charity Shop Manager you will be responsible for the day to day operations and achievement of sales and profit targets. You will have the ability to lead and inspire staff and volunteers ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. You will act as an ambassador for Ferne Animal Sanctuary building on the excellent brand.
It is essential you have experience in management. You will demonstrate energy, flexibility, innovation and strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people. You will have excellent organisational abilities and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

FUNDRAISING AND MARKETING ASSISTANT
£7.15 PER HOUR
BASED WAMBROOK CHARD
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated individual to join our team.
The successful candidate will provide complete Fundraising and Marketing administration support, undertake event organisation and assist in the development of the Sanctuary’s fundraising and marketing activities.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in an administrative role with demonstrable IT skills. Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential, alongside customer service delivery which exceeds expectations. It is desirable you have experience or a qualification in Fundraising or Marketing.
You will be required to work a rota of five days out of seven, including some weekend and Bank Holiday working.
Due to the location and role it is essential you have access to transport and the ability to travel.

Ferne Animal Sanctuary is seeking to recruit new Trustees who will bring skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to the Board.
Over the last three years, the sanctuary has experienced significant growth thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the increasing need for our services.
