Animal Care Attendant - Live out
PERMANENT 40 HOUR CONTRACT ROTA BASED - FULL TIME
(8.00 AM TO 5.00 PM MONDAY - SUNDAY ROTA BASED)
£14,400 PER ANNUM

Due to recent expansion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Animal Care Attendant at the Sanctuary.
Reporting to the Animal Care Manager you will be responsible for the care, welfare and enrichment of Sanctuary animals. Duties will include for example feeding, grooming, administering treatments and maintaining a high standard of hygiene.
It is essential you hold a Qualification in Animal Care or have recent equivalent experience working in an Animal Care environment.
Due to the location and role it is essential you have a full driving licence and access to transport. You will be paid for half an hours rest period in the morning and take a one hour unpaid lunch break. Full uniform will be provided.

JOB DESCRIPTION VAN DRIVER
14 hours per week
£7.27 per hour
Reports to Head of Trading
Purpose of the Job
To support the Sanctuary’s Retail Department and external Charity Shops with the smooth running of stock control and stock rotation between retail outlets. Reporting to the Head of Trading, you will also be responsible for collecting donations from members of the public throughout Devon, Dorset & Somerset. You will have excellent communication skills and a polite and professional manner. You will be driving within a 50 mile radius (On rare occasions and due to the need of the Sanctuary this may be further).
Key tasks and responsibilities;
Collecting goods from donors throughout the local area
Loading and unloading the vehicle between all retail sites
Planning your route thoroughly to ensure deliveries are made on time
Recording mileage and fuel purchased
The ideal candidate for the Van Driver position will have the following skills & experience:
Full clean driver’s license & good driving record
The ability to work alone and within time constraints
A patient and polite attitude towards other road users
Good spoken and written communication skills
