Home I need:

Meet Chess, a very large and very handsome Ex racing Greyhound. He has come in to our care via another rescue. Chess is very typical of many ex racing Greyhounds in that he will need time to settle into home living. He is fully muzzle trained and will wear his muzzle out on walks. Ideally he needs a home with no small pets such as Cats, small furries.

He could share his home with another dog, they tend to like the company of other Sight hounds. Chess is a friendly boy, he is a large Greyhound in size, good on a lead and enjoys human company. He can be a little bit of a stressy boy and will need gentle calm interactions. Children ought to be over 12 years old.

Ex racing Greyhounds make lovely pets once fully settled, they sometimes need help with housetraining and time alone training but after a few months can adapt well to home living and love nothing better than snuggling up on a comfy sofa.
