Murphy came to Ferne from another rescue centre and unfortunately we don’t know his history but he was in a foster home at the time and we have all the details from this.

Murphy is a fun, lively and loving boy, he walks very well on the lead and is house trained. He lived with a 14year old in his foster home so a home with children of this age would be suitable but with no other pets. Murphy travels well in the car, he is even better when sitting next to someone in the backseat. He will need further socialising with other dogs as he can get over excited and is better with larger breeds. Murphy would love his new owner to be energetic as he loves long walks but also someone who is around most of the time as he doesn’t like to be left on his own for long. Murphy is very foody so would need help with behaving in the kitchen and at mealtimes. Being a Lurcher he can be interested is some small animals and is best to be let off lead in a secure area only. Could you keep up with Murphy??
