Meet Austin 💛

Austin came to Ferne through no fault of his own after his beloved owner sadly became ill. It’s been a big change for this gentle old boy, but he’s taking it all in his stride and is now hoping to find a peaceful home to spend his golden years.

Austin is a joy to walk — he strolls beautifully on the lead and enjoys the company of other dogs both on and off lead. He has previously lived happily alongside cats and has been raised around children aged 4 and over. He travels well in the car and is comfortable being left for short periods (1–2 hours).

Like many pugs, Austin’s recall will need a little patience and understanding in his new home. He may also need some help with house training, but what he gives back in love and companionship far outweighs any extra guidance he may need.
