🐾 Meet Dandy!

Dandy came into Ferne as a stray, so we don’t know much about her past — but what we do know is that she’s an absolute sweetheart!

She’s friendly with other dogs when off-lead, walks beautifully on a loose lead, loves a good fuss, clean in kennels, travels well, and is muzzle trained. Dandy is also comfortable being left alone for short periods (1–2 hours).

True to her lurcher nature, Dandy has a high prey drive — she will chase cats and small furries — and her recall still needs some work. She can sometimes react to other dogs while on lead, but with patience and consistent training, she’ll continue to improve.

Dandy could live with older children (11+) following careful introductions.
