Mikey is a gentle, handsome older boy who found himself in rescue through no fault of his own, after the heartbreaking loss of his owner. Everything he knew and loved was suddenly gone, and now this sweet soul is hoping for a second chance at happiness.

Mikey is a true gentleman. He is friendly with other dogs, good with cats, and has been lovingly socialised with children aged 6 and above. He walks beautifully on a loose lead, has excellent recall, is fully house trained, and travels well. He adores being groomed and absolutely thrives on affection and human companionship.

Mikey’s biggest wish is simply to be close to his people. He suffers from severe separation anxiety, so he needs a home where someone is around most of the time, or where he can accompany you to work. He doesn’t cope well with being left alone, but in return he offers unwavering loyalty, love, and companionship.
