Home I need :

Pom Pom is the most gentle and loving cat that has ever walked the planet! She is looking for a home after being tempted away from her original owner by a neighbour, which after some time, resulted in poor Pom Pom having no where to go. She was reluctantly surrendered to us and was badly matted on her arrival but after a quick clip she is happy and comfortable.

Pom Pom needs a home where she is the only pet and has owners who are around a lot of the time to lavish her with the attention she deserves! She can live with gentle children over the age of 10years.

Home I need :

Pru is a sweet natured and beautiful girl who is looking for her forever home. She would like to be the only pet as she loves all the attention to herself! Pru is longhaired so she will need some help maintaining her coat and to keep her looking her best and feeling comfortable. She has had to have a clip recently because she was matted but fortunately she does enjoy a good brush.

Pru would benefit from having someone who is home a lot of the time as she appreciates the company and a safe outdoor space.

Home I need :

Felix is a friendly handsome chap who is keen for a home to call his own. He was found straying in a remote village and after no owner was traced he was brought to us to find a new home.

Felix can be a little wary of people when he first meets them but once he’s had a good sniff, you have a friend for life! He loves to interact with people and enjoys a good chat too.

Felix would need to be the only pet in an adult only home and he would also need an interesting and safe outdoor space away from busy roads.

Home I need :

Indy has had to be returned to us after being rehomed as a kitten. He is a polite and sociable boy who interacts well with his people. He does not seem to get on well with other cats, so living in a build up area with lots of other cats around did not suit him and got him into trouble!

Indy would love a home with a interesting outside space without lots of other cats around, as the only pet. He is definitely a lap cat and will happily doze off while having a cuddle, usually dribbling.

Indy is currently recovering from an abscess on the top of his head, hence the bald spot. This is healing well and requires no further treatment.

Home I need :

Daddy needs a Foster home!

Daddy is a gorgeous hunk of a boy who is looking for a special person to foster him long term while he continues his life long goal of spreading joy!

As you can tell we all absolutely adore Daddy here at Ferne and while he brings us so much, he deserves more. He is extremely affectionate and like to ‘help’ with tasks (he’s a dab hand at supervising laundry and the washing up) He just wants to be with people and is looking for someone who can give him lots of love.

Daddy is suffering from some long term gastrointestinal issues, we have ruled out lots of nasty things but we have not been able to find the root cause. We currently have him on a raw diet, which is helping hugely and he would need to continue with this. His new home would need to be very strict about making sure he does not eat anything other than his specific diet.

Daddy would prefer a home without dogs, he has previously lived with cats and would enjoy their company again. He has never had experience of small children so a home without them is most suitable. The most important thing he needs is someone who is around a lot of the time to give him the love that he deserves and so badly wants.

Home we need :

Milo is a Ragdoll cross that was adopted from Ferne in 2017 and lived very happily with his owner until they had to go into hospital. Since being adopted Milo has lived with Pixie and the 2 are inseparable so we agreed to take both cats when Milo was returned to us.

This pair are totally in love with each other and also have a lot of love to give to people. Milo gives gentle paw pats to ask for love and Pixie would sit and be brushed for hours if allowed.

Milo has had some dental work to make sure he is comfortable and both cats have a clean bill of health.

Both cats are used to safe outdoor space away from busy roads so they would require this again in their new home. They can live with other cats, provided they are female and have no experience of dogs, due to their age a home without them is preferred.

Home I need :

Rupert the cat is somewhat of a local celebrity after being found abandoned at a local pub. His previous owner was traced and did not want him back because he’s not up to scratch at keeping mice at bay!

We know that Rupert has lived rurally and would need a similar setting for his new home, he likes outside space and plenty of safe places to explore.
