Thank you so much to everyone who nominated and collected tokens for Ferne for the big Cash for Charities giveaway in association with Gannett Foundation and the Chard and Ilminster news!
We are delighted to announce that we were awarded £2,807.87 that will help us modernise the Chinchilla House and replace the existing plywood flooring with tiles to help provide a cooler environment. Chinchillas cannot tolerate heat or humidity and can suffer from overheating, heatstroke and stress if the temperatures are too high, so this really will make such a difference!
