Online Dog and Cat Show 2025!
From Storm Clouds to Silver Linings. Help Us Raise the Funds We Lost.
Polish your paws and tidy your tails, it’s our favourite time of year again! Our online dog and cat show is back for 2025, and we can’t wait to see your furry superstars!
As many of you may know, recently, on the morning of our ever popular dog show, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel the event. This was due to poor weather conditions, with thunder and lightning increasing overhead and rain pouring down as we tried to set up gazebos and sound systems on a slippery, muddy field. It was a heart-breaking decision for our team and volunteers, who had worked so hard to prepare for the day, and hugely disappointing for the many people who had planned to join us. Our annual dog show is our biggest event of the year. As well as being a great opportunity to connect with our incredible community, it serves as a fanatstic fundraiser for the charity and we anticipated to raise around 5k. Losing it this year has left us with a big gap to fill…
But luckily, rain and storms can’t stop our online dog and cat show for going ahead, and entries this year will now mean more than ever. By taking part, you’ll be showing off your beloved pets, joining in the fun, and helping us raise the funds we lost for the animals at Ferne!
Enter your dog, cat or both into as many of our 10 classes as you’d like. Each class will have a dog and cat 1st place, who will receive a wonderful winning rosette and feature in our @Ferne Magazine!

- Best Sleeping Place
- Best Bedhead
- Best Tongue Out
- Best Friends
- Best Action Shot
- Best in Show – Sponsored by Blackdown Hills National Landscape
Entries cost £2 each and will be open from the 17th of September until the 10th of October.
Winners will be announced by the 17th of October and contacted to receive their winning rosettes!

*Please note, entries for the competition are counted offline. Images are uploaded to social media as part of the fun and do not need to be uploaded to confirm the entry. Entrants will be contacted separately should their be any issues with your submission.
