Meet Jerry 🐾

Jerry is a small, sweet little chap who has sadly come into our care due to his owner’s declining health. He’s a gentle but nervous boy who is looking for a calm and quiet, rural home where he can feel safe and secure.  Ideally, he would love a bungalow so he does not need to negotiate stairs, he will want to sleep with his new owner.

Jerry does suffer with separation anxiety and will need an owner who is perhaps working from home or able to take him to work.  His ideal owner will be prepared to help Jerry work on his anxiety and separation worries.   He is s very active young man and thoroughly enjoys going out and about on walks, he is curious about the world around him, once he has built a bond with his new person (which he does very quickly), he is a joy to have around and just loves a cuddle.

Jerry didn’t have the best start in life and originally came from a puppy farm, so he will need a patient and understanding owner who can help him build confidence.

Jerry has many lovely qualities:

✅ House trained

✅ Walks nicely on a loose lead

✅ Travels well

✅ Friendly with other small and medium dogs

Jerry can be nervous around larger dogs but would benefit from living with a calm confident similar sized dog. He may chase cats, so a cat-free home would be best. His recall will also need some work as he has never been off lead before.

Jerry is a dear little dog who simply needs patience, reassurance, and lots of love to help him blossom in his new home.
