This handsome Doberman has come into Ferne through no fault of his own and is now searching for his forever home. ❤️

Axel is a lovely boy who is friendly with other dogs both on and off lead, has great recall and has previously lived with cats. He is also used to being around horses, chickens and sheep, making him a well-rounded boy with experience of a variety of animals.

Axel travels well, is house trained, has been socialised with children aged 11 and upwards, and is used to being left for 2–3 hours. He also loves nothing more than a good swim! 🏊‍♂️

Axel is a very strong boy on the lead, so his lead walking will need some work in his new home.

But what is Axel’s idea of the perfect day? Snuggling up on the sofa, lying upside down and enjoying all the home comforts he deserves! 🛋️ Just don’t expect him to be keen on rainy-day walks – this big lad would much rather stay cosy and dry! 😂☔

Axel has so much love to give and is hoping someone will look past his kennel door and see the wonderful companion he could be.
