Ferne are delighted to announce that we have received a generous grant from Pedigree Pet Foods ‘Brighter Futures’ of £13,400. This money will be used to create our new dedicated rehabilitation, training and play area for the dogs in our care at Ferne, waiting to be rehomed. It will provide them with an area to rest, play, exercise, socialise with other dogs and receive some obedience training. This area will be of particular benefit to dogs who have been in our care for a longer period as it will provide a variety of environments for them to enjoy, such as a ‘beach area’, willow trails, water play and some shaded rest places for our older residents!
