Abseil – October Half Term

This October half term, why not help animals in need with an abseil in the stunning Split Rock Quarry, near Wells!

Taking on the 30m descent will surely be a challenge, but we know you will feel amazing as soon as your feet touch back on the ground! Under supervision from Somerset Adventures and with the support of the team at Ferne, you’ll be in good hands we promise.

All we ask in return is to raise sponsorship for taking part and to have loads of fun on the day! There is no minimum amount for sponsorship, but to add to the challenge, here is what you could receive:

• If you raise £50 through sponsorship, you’ll receive a Ferne keyring (choice of dog, cat, or horse)
• If you raise £100 through sponsorship, you’ll receive a Ferne branded baseball cap
• If you raise £200 through sponsorship, you’ll receive a Ferne reusable mug (choice of sunset or pig)

Our Fundraising team will be there to support you along the way to help you reach your goals!

Your participation will ensure that we can continue to provide safety for animals in need. From those waiting for their forever homes to our long-term residents spending rest of their lives here with us, you’ll be helping them all. You can find out more about our resident animals here.

The event is £35 per person and is suitable for adults and children aged 8 years and above.
