Are you a rabbit owner, thinking about adopting or just want to know more about these fascinating animals.

Join us on one of our rabbit Rabbit Care Workshops

Age Group: 7–10 years (must be accompanied by parent/carer) £3.00/child, adults FOC

Duration: Approximately 1.5–2 hours

Children will meet a rescued rabbit, learn about its individual story and daily care needs, and explore how animals communicate through behaviour and body language. Through observation, discussion, creative activities, and hands-on enrichment making, children have the opportunity understand more about the needs of these beautiful animals.

By the end of the workshop, children will:

  • Understand that every rabbit has its own story and needs.
  • Recognise basic body language and behaviour.
  • Learn about rabbit care, diet, and daily routines.
  • Create enrichment items that support the rabbits in Ferne’s care
