Perdida at Ferne

RELAX AND REFUEL AT PERDIDA – ON-SITE CAFE AT FERNE

In April 2025 we were delighted to welcome Perdida, a vibrant new café to Ferne Animal Sanctuary.

Perdida offers a fresh and flavourful menu inspired by the bold, colourful dishes from around the world. The food is predominantly plant-based, packed with taste and creativity – perfect if you’re looking for something a little different. Eggs and dairy are also available for those who prefer a few familiar additions. Glutem free options are available.

The café uses seasonal produce wherever possible, with ingredients sourced from local suppliers and the kitchen garden at their sister venue, Olive. Alongside the main menu, you’ll find comforting favourites such as toasted sandwiches, savoury cheese scones, homemade cakes and freshly blended smoothies.

And if you’re just after a warm drink, barista-made coffees, hand-crafted cordials, shakes and more are available to enjoy – alongside the peaceful and beautiful views of the sanctuary.

Perdida is open seven days a week from 10am to 3pm, and you’re very welcome to visit the café without entering the sanctuary itself. It’s a perfect spot to relax, refuel, and take in the tranquil surroundings of Ferne. Look for the The Harman Centre located at the bottom left of the main car park – you’ll find Perdida situated there. Full menu served Mon-Sat, with coffee, cakes and snacks on Sundays.
