Every year Ferne rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes over 500 animals. Since we were founded, we have rehomed over 40,000 animals. Each year we take in unwanted horses, farm animals and small pets and find them loving homes, either with us or in our local community. We have over 300 abandoned and unwanted animals here at the sanctuary, many with complex problems, so they stay here, and we look after them forever. In the case of our tortoises forever means over a century!
