Meet Hank – Your Gentle Giant

Hank came into Ferne as a stray, so we don’t have any background history on him. What we do know is that he’s a big-hearted, friendly boy who’s won us all over.

Hank is great with adults and could live with older teenagers, provided introductions are done carefully. He’s clean in his kennel both during the day and overnight, and he gets along well with other dogs both on and off lead.

He walks nicely on a loose lead most of the time, has good recall in our secure fields, and travels well in a van — a great companion for days out and adventures.

Hank is still learning to be comfortable when left alone, so he’ll need support and patience while he builds confidence. He does have a strong chase instinct around cats, so a cat-free home is essential.
