Ferne’s Online Dog and Cat Show 2026
Our ever-popular online dog and cat show is back for 2026! All those adorable photos filling up your camera roll, we can’t wait to see them!
For each class, the Ferne team faces the incredibly difficult task of choosing one winning cat and one winning dog. These furry superstars will receive a special winner’s rosette and enjoy their moment in the spotlight, featuring proudly in the next edition of the Ferne magazine.
As well as having fun, celebrating your companion and making lasting memories, every entry helps support the care of the animals at Ferne.
Among them are cats and dogs just like your own beloved pet, except they are still waiting, looking for a forever home and loving family of their own.
Gentle Sally and lively Ozzy for example!
To enter this year’s online show and show your support for animals in need, see our classes and entry rules below.
The classes are:
- Loveliest Lady
- Most Handsome Male
- Cutest Youngster (Under 12 months)
- Best Veteran (10+)
- Best Rescue
- Best Sleeping Place
- Best Bedhead
- Best Tongue Out
- Best Friends
- Best Action Shot
- Best in Show
- Entries cost £2 each and will be open from the 14th September until the 9th October.
- Please only include one image per form submission. If more than one image is attached, only the most recent attachment will be submitted.
- Winners will be announced by the 16th October and contacted to receive their winning rosettes!

- *Please note, entries for the competition are counted offline. Images are uploaded to social media as part of the fun and do not need to be uploaded to confirm the entry. Entrants will be contacted separately should their be any issues with your submission.
