Meet Bear 🐾

Bear is a handsome little terrier who came to Ferne after the sad passing of his previous owner. He is now looking for a loving new home where he can thrive.

Bear is a lively and affectionate dog with plenty of character. He loves playing fetch, walks nicely on a loose lead, travels well, and is house-trained. He is also comfortable being left alone for short periods of around 2–3 hours.

Bear can be excitable when meeting other dogs while on the lead and may react enthusiastically, so his recall training will need some continued work. He also has a strong instinct to chase cats, meaning a cat-free home is essential. Off lead, however, he is friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs.

Bear could live with sensible older children aged 13 and above, subject to careful introductions.
