Meet Bernie 🐾

Bernie is a sweet older boy who has come into our care through no fault of his own. He’s a happy, friendly little chap who’s now looking for a loving forever home.

Bernie gets along well with female dogs and neutered males, though he can be reactive around entire male dogs when off lead. He walks nicely on a loose lead and has great recall, making him a lovely companion out and about.

He will need some support with house training and can occasionally feel unwell when travelling. Bernie also has a strong instinct to chase cats, so he’ll need a cat-free home.

Bernie can be left alone for short periods (1–2 hours) and would be best suited to an adult-only home or one with older children (11+).
