We are extremely proud of our CEO, Kevan, for taking on and completing the Ferne 2 Ferne Challenge last month.
He embarked on an incredible 46 mile walk from Ferne Animal Sanctuary’s original location on the Wiltshire/Dorset border to the current site in Chard that we all know and love today. This is the same journey the animals would have taken in 1975 when the sanctuary relocated.
He completed the challenge in less than 20 hours and has raised almost £1,800. This money will go towards a summer house for the dog sensory garden, some vertical and horizontal cat wall furniture, and a mechanical cat to do initial dog testing with, reducing stress for resident cats.
