Ferne staff take 15,000ft plunge for rescue animals

Feb 18, 2018

On the 14th April a group of daring Ferne staff and volunteers will throw themselves out of an aeroplane and fall thousands of feet to the ground – all in the name of raising vital funds for animals in need.

“As a charity, we rely entirely on the generosity of people to support the work we do,” Elaine Hayes, CEO of Ferne says. “Seeing animals in distress or sad when they arrive, and the change in them after the care and attention of our dedicated staff reminds you of what an important cause this is. Every fundraiser helps to pay for this vital care, so we hope our skydiving team will be well supported.”

If you would like to support our brave jumpers – Alice, Belinda, Kelly and Bethan – please donate here: http://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ferne-skydive Each of the skydiving team need to raise a minimum of £395 for the Sanctuary, so every donation will be gratefully received to help us reach and go beyond our target.
