Our Cattery team and volunteers celebrating the success!

Following the success of our Cattery Appeal, we’re delighted to share an update on the improvements we’ve made to our cattery! With the help of our wonderful supporters, generous donors and hardworking Estates Team, we’ve been able to bring our Head of Cattery’s vision to life and create an even more enriching environment for the cats in our care.

New walkways, enrichment areas and more to explore

Our Estates team has been hard at work creating new walkways and additional enrichment areas, giving our feline residents even more opportunities to explore, play and express their natural behaviours. We’ve also given the inside of the cattery a little refresh, making the space even more welcoming and comfortable for the cats who come to stay with us.

A Big Thank You to Our Wonderful Supporters

These improvements wouldn’t have been possible without the kindness and generosity of our supporters. Plus, our lovely cattery volunteer, Diane, generously donated plants and shrubs propagated from her own garden, helping to bring some extra greenery to the outdoor spaces.

A huge thank you also goes to another of our wonderful cattery volunteers Julie, who persuaded Tesco to donate shrubs and secured patio slabs from Bradfords. These fantastic contributions, alongside the funds raised through our cattery appeal, have helped us transform our ideas into reality.

A Happier, More Enriching Space for Our Cats

The updated cattery offers our cats an even lovelier environment, with plenty of opportunities to explore, climb, hide and engage in their natural behaviours. Enrichment is an important part of feline welfare, helping cats stay active, curious and comfortable while they’re in our care. By providing more varied spaces and places to explore, we can help make their time with us as positive and enjoyable as possible, while helping them prepare for their next chapter.

We’re thrilled with how the cattery is looking now and can’t wait for our feline residents to enjoy their improved surroundings.

Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who supported our Cattery Appeal and helped make these changes happen.
