Meet Toby 🐾

This handsome boy came to Ferne after his owner’s health sadly declined and they were no longer able to care for him. Toby is now looking for a loving new home where he can enjoy all the attention and companionship he deserves.

Toby is a well-mannered and affectionate dog with lots to offer. He is house trained, crate trained, travels well, and walks nicely on a loose lead. He is comfortable being left for short periods (around 3–4 hours) and has been socialised with children of 6 years of age and above. Toby enjoys being groomed, is friendly with other dogs both on and off lead, and absolutely loves a game of fetch.

As Toby has a coat that requires regular upkeep, his new family will need to be committed to routine grooming appointments. He would also benefit from continued work on his recall before enjoying off-lead adventures. Toby does have a strong chase instinct towards cats, so he is looking for a cat-free home.

Toby is a sweet, friendly boy with so much love to give and is ready to find his forever family.
